Hello Everyone! Once upon a time there was a little girl who started a blog with her hot hot hubbie. She then proceeded to never post in it and was very boring. But then one day she decided that she would start blogging again (i know. i know. I've said this before). But I feel like this would be a good way to write things down and express myself. If you would like to read it, enjoy. If not, that's ok because I'm doing this mostly for myself anyway ;) and without further adieu:

So a lot has been going on since we last met our heros. Hubbie and I are now in the process of becoming licensed foster parents. It is a very exciting, very new adventure that we are embarking on but I am excited to give the kids that will come to us a loving home for as long as they need it. I will admit that at times it is daunting, but I remember that the Lord has all power and that if He can get me through a mission where I learned Chinese and ate a pig's ear, He can get me through this. Especially because this time around I have my Eternal Companion to do it with. :)

We have also been to lots of fun things in the past few years. We have seen some really cool musicians in concert (Blue's Travelers, Sara Bareilles, the legendary James Taylor and tons of other cool people). We've been to the Spiral Jetty (someplace I have wanted to go since I was in High School) and to lots of other fun places.

And just last week we went to a CUTE little bed and breakfast in Logan for our 5 year anniversary. Can you believe it has already been 5 years? In some ways it feels like just yesterday that we got married and in other ways it's hard to believe there was ever a time before we were man and wife. I am so glad that I met this amazing man and that he is letting me tag along on our adventures forever. What a cool guy. OH! Speaking of this cool guy, he graduated from BYU(!) a little over a year ago. That's right. We're two college grads up in the Creek house! Look at us go. Apparently according to statistics lots of good things happen when both spouses are college grads so let the good times roll :)

Oh and to finish it off, one fun thing we did recently was take some cool old timey pictures together. An awesome friend of mine over at Picture it Mine Photography (check her out on facebook) asked if we would model for her and we were delighted (well I was delighted and hubbie was a sweetheart and played along).
